What does this mean for you?

When joining BigPicture you also become part of Appfire’s European recruitment team (currently 5 team members and growing). If you ever run out of recruitment projects for BigPicture, or if you’d simply like to broaden your professional experience, you’ll get a chance to recruit for other amazing tech companies in Europe such as RoninPixels or Spartez. You will also get an opportunity to share knowledge with and learn from our colleagues from the USA and South Asia recruitment teams.

And don’t worry, as a company, we invest a lot in building close relationships between our Team members across all continents. You’ll have a lot of opportunities to get to know the people you work with.

What’s our Team like? 

We might have a global reach, but we’re a small, tight-knit team – we stick together ;) We currently have 5 team members in Europe (Poland), 2 in the US, and 2 in South Asia. We enjoy a lot of work independence, as it’s up to us to decide how best to manage our recruitment projects – we take full ownership of our projects and lead them end-to-end. Together with our Chief People Officer, we set goals for our Teams and individually for ourselves. Those goals are aligned with our career growth aspirations.

We don’t want to tell you how to do your job, but we imagine it will involve things like:

  • Close cooperation with Hiring Managers – we know and understand their goals, we create and optimize recruitment strategies to their needs, we advise at every step of the team-building process. We don’t just gather requisitions, but we really are Hiring Managers’ best friends and closest advisors when it comes to growing their teams :)
  • Working end-to-end on ambitious recruitment projects
  • Effectively sourcing the best talent on the market
  • Keeping candidates up to date with the recruitment process and upholding the company’s high standards of candidate experience
  • Participating in employer branding activities (meetups, workshops, conferences, etc.)
  • Constantly growing your skills, staying up to date with the latest IT recruitment trends

This is what we are looking for:

  • Experience with leading end-to-end recruitment processes for technical positions: Software Developers (preferably Java and Angular), DevOps Engineers, Security Engineers, Automation Testers, PMs, Engineering Managers, Release Train Engineers, UX Designers, and other – mostly Senior and C-level positions
    • Additional experience with recruiting for non-technical positions (business, client support, marketing) will be an asset. 
  • Knowledge and interest in IT Sourcing and IT recruitment trends
  • Impeccable communication skills, and great attention to detail
  • Focus on delivering the best candidate experience
  • Team player attitude, willingness to support the growth of other team members
  • Polish language proficiency and advanced English language proficiency (B2 level is a minimum)

Recruitment process step-by-step

  1. Submit your application
  2. Meet with Weronika, Head of Employer Branding and Recruitment at BigPicture, for an ~1,5-hour conversation via Google Meet. She’ll tell you all about our company, teams, and values. We hope you’ll tell us about your professional experience and plans for future career development. The conversation will be carried out in Polish and English
  3. Meet with one of our Software Developers or DevOps Engineers to discuss your theoretical knowledge of IT technologies (online via Google Meet, ~30 min.)
  4. Meet with Appfire’s Chief People Officer for up to an hour of conversation via Google Meet to discuss our mutual expectations (online, ~1 hour)

If everything goes well, we’ll call you with a job offer very quickly and welcome you to our team :)

Remuneration & model of cooperation

You can choose between:

  • 12 500 – 18 500 PLN gross contract of employment / month (umowa o pracę)
  • 12 500 – 18 500 PLN + VAT B2B / month (kontrakt B2B)
